About us

Hey!
My name is Tash and I'm the artist behind Hay Moo co! I'm 25, living in Lara, Victoria, Australia and decided to set up my own earring business.
In April 2022, we had a name change from Art by Jayne to what you now see Hay Moo co.

Here's the story of my business journey. When I was first starting my Instagram account, I didn’t really know if my art was good enough to share or tell my friends and family about so I kinda kept it all a secret. I wasn't really sure what to make my account name and I knew I didn’t want to use my first name so I went with my middle name, Jayne! This has now all changed, my friends and family support my business!

I love creating! I have always been interested in arts and crafts. When I was younger I would mostly be drawing. I always took art class in school. In the later years of high school I started using watercolour in my projects and absolutely loved it!

I bought a really cheap watercolour palette, some really bad paper and painted away! After a couple months I was finally getting the hang of watercolour. I made my art account and have been loving painting and sharing it all with you!

I love all arts and crafts but my all-time favourite is definitely watercolours (Still love it but I've now shifted my interests to polymer clay).
My polymer clay journey started when I made a small pig for my mum for mothers day. I quickly realised that I really loved working with clay and then started making lottsss of earrings!

This is a corner of my home studio! Its decorated with lots of plants and some old acrylic artwork I have done. My giant custom sized desk fits all my making supplies, which makes making a lot easier for me.

Starting my art business was really scary but I was excited to get my art and what I create out there and improve along the way. I can't thank everyone enough for all the support I have received, both in person and via social media. Showing people the pieces I make has always been something that terrifies me.

I really want to add colour back into people's homes and personality too. My artwork now grace the walls of countless peoples' loungerooms, bedrooms and kid's rooms. The earrings I make now grace the faces of many of you and I'm so glad you love them.
It makes me so happy when people support what I do. My prints and earrings are often given as presents. It's amazing! I feel so lucky and I couldn't be more thankful.

Stay tuned to my social media and the website to keep up with my journey and see what new things I have in store. I appreciate it a lot.
